The Importance of LPNs for Healthcare
Why are LPNs so important for the healthcare field? They do a lot more than most people credit them for. They play a vital role in hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers, and more. They often work under the supervision of registered nurses to carry out healthcare instructions, meaning, more often than not, LPNs are the staff tending to patients directly. They can even work as intermediaries between RNs and CNAs. But oftentimes, they don’t get the same kind of respect that nurses in higher positions receive although they perform a lot of the same functions. With that being said, here is an infographic provided by Trade Schools on what makes them so important as a part of the larger healthcare picture.
